Jaimie Malone is a stop motion animator, puppet fabricator, and papermache sculptor. Her work uses bright colors and fun atmospheres to tell unique stories involving absurd situations that come with a twist. Inspired by works that make her laugh and feel like weird dreams, she makes eye-catching work with a melting pot of mediums. Jaimie loves to have fun with her art, whether creating a mixed media animation about a sentient booger monster, a purple hand puppet of an emu, or a giant wearable pair of paper mache teeth. Jaimie’s goal is to make art that is memorable and entertaining to her audience and to share her weird mind with the world.

She will graduate with a Bachelor of Fine Arts specializing in animation from the Kansas City Art Institute in May 2025.
